Ang’edi & Gekonge Advocates LLP is a Kenya-based law firm providing strategic, commercially focused and solutions-driven legal services to individuals, entrepreneurs, companies, financial institutions, investors, public bodies and other organisations.
We combine rigorous legal analysis with a practical understanding of business, regulation and dispute dynamics. Our lawyers advise at every stage of the legal and commercial lifecycle, from structuring transactions and managing regulatory risk to resolving disputes, protecting assets and pursuing or defending complex claims.
We serve clients in Kenya and on cross-border matters involving Kenyan law, regional transactions and international commercial interests. Every advocate at the firm is admitted to the Roll of the High Court of Kenya.

Managing Partner
Kennedy Ang’edi Wandera
Advocate of the High Court of Kenya · LL.M (Zurich), Magna Cum Laude
Kennedy Ang’edi Wandera is the Managing Partner of the firm, with a commercially focused practice spanning corporate and commercial law, banking and finance, insurance, competition law, regulatory compliance, civil and commercial litigation, and arbitration and dispute resolution.
He holds an LL.M in International Business Law, specialising in International Banking, Finance and Insurance Law, from the University of Zurich, where he graduated with Distinction (Magna Cum Laude). His thesis examined the abuse of buyer power under EU and Kenyan competition law, reflecting a strong interest in the intersection of international business, financial regulation and competition policy.
Having previously practised at Waweru Gatonye & Co. Advocates and JN & P Law Advocates LLP, he advises and represents clients locally and internationally in complex commercial transactions, regulatory matters and disputes, combining technical excellence, commercial insight, integrity and decisive advocacy.

Gekonge Mariga

Gekonge Mariga is a Partner at the firm, with extensive experience in commercial and civil litigation, criminal defence, banking and lending disputes, debt recovery, corporate disputes, and arbitration and alternative dispute resolution.
He represents banks, financial institutions, corporations, commercial enterprises, automotive-sector businesses and private clients in complex disputes. His practice also covers anti-corruption, financial crime and proceeds-of-crime matters, including proceedings under the Proceeds of Crime and Anti-Money Laundering Act (POCAMLA).
Gekonge combines strong advocacy with commercial insight, focusing on practical strategies that protect his clients’ interests. He is committed to strategic preparation, professional integrity and effective representation in complex, high-stakes disputes.
